We had a wonderful experience with Shelley. We began our search in January, not being exactly sure what we were looking for. We met up with Shelley and saw 3 houses the first day and also a model home that we really liked. We considered buying at this point and Shelley provided us with all the information we needed to move forward. However, the time frame became too far out with new construction and we resumed our home search. Shelley spent many of her weekends showing us homes in an area we thought we wanted to be. We put in many offers on homes (many of them above asking) and they all fell through for various reasons. One of them being an 11th hour offer on a home we were sure we were going to get. Shelley was ever patient and optimistic and assured us we would find the right house. After seeing a home in Burnt Store Marina we really liked, but was already under contract, we decided that this was the neighborhood we wanted to be. We missed out on another couple of opportunities but Shelley kept us focused and assured us that something would come up in the marina. She was absolutely right as the first house we had looked at went back on the market and we were able to come to a mutual agreement after some long negotiations in which Shelley worked nights and weekends to help us hammer out. We ended up with a beautiful house that we wanted in the neighborhood we wanted. Shelley is knowledgeable, professional, and proactive. We feel like we made a friend in the process and couldn't ask for more in realtor.

My husband and I are relocating from New Jersey and we chose punta Gorda as our new destination. We had a very bad experience earlier in the day and we decided to just pop in and we were introduced to Shelly. She was most helpful in every way. Although she doesn't handle rentals, she took the time to show us what was available and gave us a very clear idea of the area we were interested in. I would highly recommend her for any real estate needs and if we choose to buy someday we would definitely give her a call. It's not easy finding a rental in punta Gorda, we still haven't found one but with Shelly's help I'm sure we will.

Shelley recently helped us find and purchase our new vacation and future retirement home during the height of COVID-19. Our mortgage loan officer referred her to us as we live out of state and did not know very many people in the area. Shelley asked us a lot of questions to learn about our wants and needs as well as setting us up on a portal to review available homes online. She never made us feel pressured and she was not pushy. Once we found a home we were interested in, she arranged for a video tour. Suited up with facemask, gloves and video gear she took us through the home virtually. Shelley is very professional while also being very down-to-earth and relatable. I trust what she tells us because I know that she researches questions to find the correct answer. The best part of our experience was feeling important and that we were her only client although we knew we weren’t. Shelly in our mind deserves more than five stars. We have never worked with a real estate agent that went above and beyond like Shelly did. Having bought and sold ten properties in our life we feel well qualified to make that claim. In this crazy COVID world we are living in now we purchased our condo in Plantation Golf and CC unseen. Shelly was wonderful in easing our concerns with a walk through video of the property going over every nook and cranny answering every question we had. When we made our offer and it was accepted ( which also got a little complicated) the inspection was scheduled and Shelly was there also for that along with the inspector answering all our questions. We then came to Florida from Texas for our walk through and closing. At this time Shelly was going through a very tough illness and was not able to be with us. She arranged another agent who was great also to get us through the process. Even though being very sick she stayed in touch with us right through the closing. We stayed at our property for three weeks and were so pleased that Shelly was able to come visit us, bringing beautiful gifts and stayed with us for a couple of hours. What a wonderful conversation it was as we both got to talk about our life paths. If we know of anyone seeking property in that area of a Florida we will highly recommend Shelly. She was the best agent we have ever dealt with, a true professional.
Shelley is amazing! She is professional, knowledgeable and fun. I came to her with some narrow criteria and she hung in there for 14 months off and on, until I found the perfect home. She came to the showings having done research beyond the listing info. She would point out the good, bad and ugly and there was never any pressure for me to buy. But when we showed up at the closing inspection and the older couple was not ready she really excelled. Other realtors would have just called the listing agent and said make it right. She went above and beyond and made it right. She helped them get moved out and worked out a solution to close and fund and get me in the house on schedule. Thank you Shelley! Where to begin? I guess I should start from our first telephone conversation. We chose a date and time to connect and discuss my late fathers' home and the possibility of listing the home with Shelley. My father had this home built and it was his "Happy Place" so, it was extremely important to our family that the home would be represented by someone that would appreciate it and the memories that were made there. From that first conversation on I knew I had made the right decision. Shelley was definitely the right choice. Her knowledge of the area, the current state of the market and the real estate industry was impressive to say the least. Our first in person meeting...My sister and I scheduled a trip to Florida to prepare the home for listing (we are from Ohio, coincidence...turns out Shelley grew up very close to where we live!) Shelley arrived in the afternoon and she patiently walked us through the process. She answered all of our questions and gave us the most valuable lesson on "decluttering" so we could get the home ready for what turned out to be the most impressive marketing video we had ever seen. Her direction motivated my sister and I to go room by room and make the home look more amazing than ever. What we both thought was going to be a sad and emotional time turned out to be rather fun and enjoyable. On the market...Shelley took over! Since we live in Ohio, she took the lead. Never did we worry about the showings or Open Houses. Shelley handled everything. She made sure the house was always ready and provided feedback from the viewings. She monitored the weather and made sure the air was set correctly, that the pool furniture was secured when necessary, that the landscaping was always spot on and if necessary she did it herself, why? Because she "Get's it done!" And she did time and time again. We had some repairs that were required and she handled everything. She spent hours coordinating visits from contractors to ensure things were done correctly and according to code. Florida weather...Hot, humid and what about those tropical storms and hurricanes? Shelley kept me informed throughout the summer. Always letting me know what was happening. After Hurricane Helene she helped so many that were impacted by the damage. Searching for pets that were lost and cleaning out flooded homes to help those in need. Then came Milton...so time to get back to Florida. At least we get to see Shelley again! She gave us advice on how to prepare our home and kept in touch to make sure we were all safe. She was like our guardian ANGEL! The Buyer...so, as I said earlier, we really hoped that the new owner would be someone who would love this home as much as our family did. Well, she found him! As we worked through the final details she shared what she could about his love for the home and his hopes that this would be his new forever home. We felt that this chapter was able to close on the most positive note possible and that was everything we could ask for. In closing...thank you Shelley. You are the best in the business! For example, Shelley gave us a detailed timeline of our due diligence period to ensure a smooth process. She also scheduled additional inspections and all of our estimates. We have been buying/selling homes for 18 years with realtors in the Florida and Cleveland, Ohio markets. We met Shelley at a open house last November.
